The Minimal Series captures the fleeting magic of childhood in the most pure and wonderful way. Free of props and distractions, these stunning studio portraits focus on the unique personality of your child, creating personal works of art with a minimal aesthetic. To complete the portrait experience, Izzy guides you through designing and ordering an heirloom piece of wall art for your home from a complete line of professionally framed prints and canvases.
We are hosting a full day of studio sessions at the shop on Saturday, February 24th. Best news, Izzy is donating 100% of her session fees to reBlossom's Athens Parents Wellbeing! I was first drawn to the Minimal Series because I loved that it was raising money for a cause I care about that helps mothers in need in my own community here in Athens. I was impressed with the quality of Izzy’s portfolio and really appreciated the helpful guidance she gave leading up to the session on what kind of clothing to choose and on what to expect. During the session, I was amazed at how easily Izzy was able to capture my children’s personality in such a short time. I really love how this session allows kids to just be their authentic selves! After the session, we met with Izzy again to view and order our photos and I was so excited to see how she captured the true essence of my kiddos! It felt like a true partnership as she helped me figure out what sizes and photos were best for my home. Now, every time we go up and down the stairs where they are hung, we smile. They literally light up the house! What does the session fee/donation include?
The session fee includes help with wardrobe styling for your kiddo + other general prep before the session, as well as our time at the session. You will receive a personalized virtual reveal where I will show you your images for the first time and help you design and create your wall art. All wall art and files are purchased separately from the session fee. The best news is that the session fee will be 100% donated to Athens Parent Wellbeing!
What ages is this session good for?
This session is perfect for babies starting at about 6 months (sitting up unassisted) through elementary school.
How long is the session?
Children have short attention spans so I like to keep this session as short and fun as possible! They can take as little as 10-15 minutes or as long as 30 minutes, depending on the child.
How many children is the time slot good for?
A time slot is good for up to two children. If you have more than two, please book two back to back time slots.
What should my child wear?
These portraits are meant to be as minimal and timeless as possible. Avoid clothing with graphics, words, pictures, characters, logos or too much pattern. Solids, light colors and simple clothing are best. Izzy will offer more personalized guidance on this upon booking.
Are these available in color?
While we love the minimal and timeless look of black and white, color portraits are also available.
How much is the wall art?
A full line of custom heirloom framed prints and canvases are available to purchase after your session, and begin at $450. Izzy will schedule a virtual Reveal with you after the session for viewing your photos and aiding you in creating and ordering your wall art.
Are prints available?
Izzy values providing her clients with a beautiful piece of finished art for their home. Loose gift prints are only available as add ons to your wall art order.
Are the files available?
Your digital images can be purchased in addition to your wall art, or they are earned completely complimentary with an artwork purchase of $1500.
What if I can't do a session on February 24th?
You can schedule a session with Izzy at any time - her studio is mobile and can come to you!
